The facility provides health services for the diagnosis and treatment of numerous surgical, medical and rehabilitative pathologies, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis, with a strong emphasis on patient comfort and technological innovation.

It has a service for physical and rehabilitative medicine for patients undergoing prosthetic surgery or for those suffering from disease outcomes affecting the central nervous system.

It is considered a centre of excellence for diabetology, and pays particular attention to the prevention and treatment of the complications of diabetes that affect the lower limbs (diabetic foot).

It is also an important reference point for outpatient activities in the area.

In addition, it admits chronic patients requiring long-term care, thereby guaranteeing continuity of healthcare after discharge from hospital.

The facility is divided into two departments:

• Department of Medicine and Rehabilitation offers specialist services in general surgery, bariatric surgery, gynaecology, urology, otorhinolaryngology, orthopaedics and plastic surgery;
• Surgical department offering specialized services in general surgery, bariatric surgery, gynecology, urology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, and plastic surgery;
• center for hepatology and minimally invasive cancer therapies for the study and minimally invasive treatment of various cancer diseases with amazing results. Thermoablation for removal of selected hepatic, renal and thyroid tumors and alcoholization for treatment of solid neoplastic nodules or liquid cysts.
