The Group is present with 8 facilities in the city and province of Genoa and focuses on the care and rehabilitation of older people, and on the treatment of a wide variety of psychiatric disorders, including eating disorders and long-term care.

Overall, the Fides Medical Group has 353 beds accredited by the Regional Health Service. It employs approximately 300 employees both directly and indirectly, and has a revenue of over EUR 20 million.

The Group also boasts an excellent management team and healthcare staff with significant experience in both public and private-accredited facilities.

Thanks to its geographic position, Fides operates in a particularly favourable environment, since Liguria is the Italian Region with the highest proportion of the population aged over 65 years.

The Fides Medica Group’s medical facilities are listed below:

 

RESIDENZA LE CLARISSE

The 74-bed facility aims at caring for older people with problems of autonomy. There are three different types of therapeutic care:

  • Rehabilitation (for persons with momentary motor deficit)
  • Maintenance (for non-self-sufficient people)
  • Residential home (for semi-autonomous people)

 

VILLA SANTA MARIA PSYCHIATRIC REHABILITATION RESIDENCE

The structure has 40 beds and is a rehabilitative therapeutic community for the treatment of people with:

  • Behavioural disorder
  • Personality disorders

 

CAUP LE NOTE DI VILLA SANTA MARIA

The structure has 6 beds and is a Socio-Rehabilitative residential structure for persons with behavioural disorders, who have already undergone a rehabilitation programme but who no longer require continuous health care, but do require a "healing" or "weaning" period during which they can improve their condition and increase their autonomy before full social reintegration.

 

REHABILITATION CENTRE

The Centre, equipped with 96 beds, is a Highly Specialized Post-Hospital structure, with the following three operating units:

  • Presidio for severe acquired brain injuries (vegetative states, outcomes phases)
  • Rehabilitation Health Care Residence for persons over sixty-five with momentary motor deficits
  • Health Maintenance Residence for persons over sixty-five who are not self-sufficient, and who have lost all or part of their autonomy.

 

SANTA MARTA RESIDENCE

The structure has 65 beds. It hosts and assists elderly people whose therapeutic activities fall under two main areas:

  • Operating Unit for health maintenance of non-self-sufficient people
  • Operating Unit for residential care of semi-autonomous people

 

SANTA ROSA RESIDENCE

The structure has 50 beds. It is a long-term Health Maintenance and Care Centre for older people with autonomy problems. Its therapeutic activities are divided into the following two units:

  • Operating Unit for health maintenance of non-self-sufficient people
  • Operating Unit for residential care of semi-autonomous people

 

OPERATING UNIT FOR RESIDENTIAL CARE OF SEMI-AUTONOMOUS PEOPLE

The structure has 22 beds including 10 semi-residential beds. It is a Therapeutic Centre for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Disorders related to:

  • eating
  • personality
  • affective

 

REMS VILLA CATERINA

(REMS: Residence for the implementation of health security measures)

Villa Caterina was the first REMS to be inaugurated in the Liguria Region for the treatment of people:

  • affected by mental disorders
  • authors of acts that constitute an offense

These patients require rehabilitative therapies on a Continuous Residential Rehabilitative Care basis. The duration of care is commensurate with the custodial security measures fixed by the Magistrates’ Court.

 

SKIPPER PSYCHIATRIC RESIDENCE

The structure is equipped with 40 beds. It is a reception centre for people with persistent behavioural disorders, who need continuous care in a highly protective healthcare structure.

 

IL BOZZELLO 1 E 2

Social Rehabilitation Residential Structure equipped with 16 beds for people with behavioural disorders, who need to stay in a suitable structure, with less-intensive care, before longer hospitalization.

 

CTR PALAZZO FIESCHI

Palazzo Fieschi Residence is a Therapeutic Community for Rehabilitation (CTR) for people suffering from:

  • Behavioural disorder
  • Personality disorders

Our clients are persons who need Continuous Care and Assistance, in a residential setting, for a period not exceeding 36 months.

 

VILLA FERNANDA

Residence for the Elderly "Villa Fernanda" is a Presidio Sanitario Assistenziale equipped with an accommodation capacity of N. 70 beds, inaugurated in 2020 following a significant renovation of a former school, which made it possible to carve out an environment suitable for the different needs of the elderly and that can accommodate them by favoring their socialization, but respecting their habits.

The facility consists of:

  • n. 16 beds dedicated to the care of partial non-self-sufficient persons (NAP), in a condition, however, of still performing, with help, the primary functions, whose caretaking is indefinite;
  • n 18 beds dedicated to the care of total non-self-sufficient persons (NAT), in need of assistance in all functions including primary functions, whose taking in charge is indefinite;
  • n. 18 beds dedicated to the care of total non-self-sufficient persons (NAT), in need of assistance in all functions including primary functions, whose taking in charge is indefinite;
  • n. 18 beds dedicated to the care of total non-self-sufficient persons (NATs), in need of care in all functions including primary functions, whose taking in charge is indefinite.
